lifeline

Saw this and just about died.
It's so sad and so true.
9. remember what time I last fed my baby (thank you free nursing app)
10. be able to work my apple TV (our proper remote ran out of batteries long ago)
and I could probably think of at least 5 other things to add to the list but I'll stop now before I embarrass myself.

What I Wore

My blog isn't the only thing that is getting a little neglected these days.
My house, my dog, my hair and my wardrobe, are all on the list too.
Having 3 little ones (3 years old and younger) is hard!
Good and fun but crazy and hard too.

Anyways, here are a few of my outfits from the week.

(with black nursing tank from Target underneath)
jeggings- Forever 21

I've actually made it too the pool twice this past week with all the kiddos. It was an adventure but we did it!

my new BFF

I've always loved JuJuBe diaper bags.
Now I love them that much more.
Because I was convinced it would be y.e.a.r.s. until I could have a normal purse again.
And then I discovered this bad boy.
The cutest diaper bag that looks like a purse (yet has all the pockets and necessities a Momma needs).
I'm in love.

Friday Randoms

Beach days, BBQ's, pool time...
I love summer!

Here's a peek at my week through the lens of my camera phone.
Enjoy!

My little beach babe.
I love living in Southern California.

Oh how I love those little hands.
(Our yearly tradition of capturing our kiddos hand prints and using them for Father's Day cards)

Thank you Bobby Flay for the free ibook and yummy new summer recipes.

$5 sunglasses.
Yet another reason I love Forever 21.

I feel like all we do is buy diapers.
Little man needs to get potty trained ASAP.
Any volunteers?

happy girl.

love them!

best.new.flavor.ever.

I survived my first week of the Couch to 5k program.
barely.

my house has been smelling like fresh baked bread lately.
a lot.

Finally decided to wash my car and recruited some of my best helpers.

Wesley and his girlfriend.

Hope you had a great week!

What I Wore (fail)

Consider yourself lucky.
Instead of boring you with my horrible outfit choices this week
I chose to show off my super cute kiddos.

you're welcome :)

Well hello again

I think it's been almost 3 months since I have touched my sewing machine.
The two of us will always be life long friends but I was definitely in need of a little break.
And now that we are back together it is better than ever.
I'm finally ready to conquer a few projects that I been meaning to make for a long time.

First on the list is a monkey for my little man.

(a boy version of this monkey I made for Mackenzie a while ago using this pattern)

Friday Randoms

T.G.I.F.
It's been a tough week.
I'm so glad it's Friday!

Here's a peek at my week from the lens of my camera phone.
Enjoy!
Mackenzie went to her very first ballet class.
She has been wearing her tutu and busting dance moves since.
This little girl brightens my day.

The kids swim school had a free swim lesson open to the public as a part of this.
We were the only people who showed up.
And apparently Mackenzie and Wesley's names will be in the Guinness World Record book for being a part of it.

Marker mishap

It was so exciting to see one of my friends get baptized at church!
And yes that is a blow up pool.

Mackenzie and her friend watched the baptism at church and were pretending to baptize each other at our community group meeting.

It's so nice to not be pregnant anymore.

pure love

this little guy loves his Bapa (my dad)

I think it's safe to say Madelyn is officially sleeping for a 6 hour stretch at night.
thank.you.jesus.

I have been trying to ignore the mess and embrace (or tolerate) playdough.
It's hard but I do it for the kids.

Hope you guys had a great week!

What I Wore

Did you know that I didn't start "What I Wore Wednesday?"
Nope I definitely didn't invent "WIWW"
but I did jump on the bandwagon because let's face it...
I could definitely use the accountability to actual get dressed each day.
Especially these days.
Over the past few months it seems like a bunch of other people could use the clothing accountability as well because there are literally hundreds of people who participate each week and then link up over HERE at The Pleated Poppy.
Stop by and take a look around.
Maybe you will get some new wardrobe ideas or inspiration.

Flip flop makeover

I've heard that you lose brain cells every time you have a kid.
Each day I'm more and more convinced that is true.

Whether it's actual brain cell loss or just plain ol' sleep deprivation I've been completely void of any good, new or creative ideas.
And it's probably just as well because even if I did have any I'm not sure I would have the time or the energy to make them come to life these days.

But luckily there are a ton of other crafty people out there coming up with awesome ideas like these fabric flip flops that are just perfect for summer.

Check out the tutorial from The Mother Huddle HERE

And hopefully my brain will return to me soon :)
