3. years. old.

Happy 3rd Birthday to my favorite little boy in the whole wide world!

Who would have thought that my horribly colicky. never happy. or sleepy. baby would turn into such a...

silly,

playful,

joyful,

athletic,

caring,

 passionate,

fun,

loving,

sometimes serious,

 sweet,

cuddly,

really really cute big boy.

Wesley, I am so proud of the man you are growing to be! Always keep your eyes fixed on the Lord and His Word in your head and your heart and He will take care of the rest.
I love you more than words can express!
Happy Birthday Bubba!

A peek at our week

Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't been around as much lately.
With my father in law in town and Wesley's birthday party this weekend things have been busy!

Here's a peek at what we have been up to the past week...
Enjoy!

Aaron, his dad, and Wesley had a little boys night at the Angel's game.
They even got to go in the press box!!

Madelyn's two favorite things.
Coloring and climbing onto the table.

He's definitely my son.
(Aaron hates all sweets. Weird I know).
Luckily (or not so luckily) the kids are all normal sweet eaters.

We got to visit our dog Cali
(who lives with Aaron's grandparents).

We also went to visit Aaron's great grandma and I got to see some of her artwork.
I never knew she was such a wonderful painter!

I also had to move Wesley's car seat into the middle row with Madelyn.
There was just too much crazy going on in the back with the big kids next to each other.

This is how he sleeps.
Always upside down (head NOT on the pillow) in a ball.

Water balloons!!

Mackenzie and I snuck away to paint by ourselves.

Already a girly girl.

We tried to go to the fair on Wednesday but after waiting over 2 hours in traffic to get there we decided to just go to Rainforest cafe instead.

The food there is awful but the atmosphere is awesome!

Morning snuggles are the best.

Nothing cuter than little ballerinas.

Getting ready for Wesley's animal rescue mission at his birthday party.

On the horizon

Some new and exciting things are coming up!

I've been working on another batch of stuffed owls
so if you have been waiting patiently to see some in the shop your wait is almost up.
I can't wait for you to see them!

I've also been working on some new products!
Here's a little teaser.

And our little man is turning 3 on Monday (how did that happen?!) which means this weekend is party central.
I've been busy brainstorming an animal rescue mission adventure for his Diego birthday party.
I don't know who's more excited me or the kids.

So that's what I've been busy working on lately.
How about you?

Bunco!

I'm secretly (or not so secretly) super competitive.
But I kind of can't help it.
it runs in my family.
You should see us at family get togethers.
It can get i.n.t.e.n.s.e.

Anyways, on the third Monday of every month
I get to sneak away with the girls and get my bunco on.

We roll the dice,

and chat
a lot,

and snack
a lot,

and every now and then I even come home with a prize!

You have to love a game where there is even a prize for the biggest loser!

It's one of the things I look forward to every month.
Any other bunco lovers out there?

A peek at our week

Here's a peek at our week through the camera lens of my phone.
Enjoy!

I love the way they play together.

Testing out Daddy's backpacking tent and counting down the years until he can go too.

The fair last week was awesome!

The kids had a blast on all of the rides.
Especially the fun houses.

And my heart was so full seeing them have so much fun.
Being a parent is pretty awesome.

This little one melts my heart.

Taking a rest to massage our feet.
25 cents well spent.

And a trip to the fair isn't complete without a cinnamon roll.
Mmmmm...

Kenzie and I also had the best Mommy and me day.
We did a little shopping, eating and then playing at Pretend City.

We also went to the Great Park's anniversary celebration.
There was tons of free stuff for the kids to do,

lots of army equipment,

an air show,

and the kids got to make and fly their own kites.

The kids found the music instruments I hid months ago.
They were in heaven.

:)

She's addicted to the swings.

Aaron's dad is visiting us for a couple weeks!
The kids (and us) love having him in town!

Mackenzie desperately wants to learn how to read.
One of my friends told me about www.starfall.com so we are giving it a shot.

We went to a Rob Biagi concert.
My kids are such groupies.

Yes I give my kids sugar filled cereals.
It usually goes something like this...
"Kids these cereals are on sale. Pick one."
