For my birthday (on Tuesday) Aaron, the kids and I drove up to our local mountains for a little snow day!
We hadn't been to the snow since Mackenzie was a year old so it was a ton of fun for all of us to be back!
Also it helped that it was the most beautiful day ever!
The sun was shinning, it wasn't super cold and there was just enough snow for us all to play with without being an inconvenience.
We even stocked up on a ton of firewood.
It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday!
We even got to see a miniature horse!
After some fun in the mountains we headed home and went out to dinner with my parents.
It was a blast!

ReplyDeleteI live in Vermont, so I don't think I have ever seen an unfrozen lake with snow around it. It must be fun to go look at snow and then go home
