Upcycled T Shirt Dress

Mackenzie loved this dress so much
I had to make her a short sleeve spring/summer version.
Seriously this is the easiest dress to make.
If I can do it, so can you.
Trust me.
And the best part is, it's totally upcycled from old t shirts.
I love a free and easy project :)

How cute is my good friend's daughter?
She is 5 and just so happens to be the exact same size as Mackenzie.
I borrowed her as my model and let me tell you
photographing a 5 year old is so.much.easier. than my not always cooperative 3 year old.
If you're interested in making one for yourself
(and I totally think you should)

Twins

Apparently Aaron and I only make one kind of baby.
When we got the 4D ultrasound of Madelyn I instantly thought she looked like Wesley.
I just didn't realize how much!
Take a look for yourself...

Madelyn (at around 28 weeks inside the womb)

Wesley (4 days old)

Here's a side by side.
Crazy, huh?

Only 2 more months until we get to see what she really looks like!

Bobbins and Beagles Giveaway!

If you love cozy knits,
girly accessories,
and awesome color combinations
this giveaway is just for you!

This week I am so excited to introduce you to Rose,
the mastermind behind Bobbins and Beagles.

"Hello, My name is Rose Bardin and I love to create unique and one of a kind pieces that everyone would want to wear!! My love of crafting and my skills were passed down from my grandma, who I spent every weekend with as a child. She was an amazing seamstress and crafter and helped us create something every weekend! We used to make crocheted potholders, and I've now turned those skills into an amazing hobby and business! When I'm not crafting, I'm in the kitchen creating as I run a full service catering business with my sister. It's a busy, yet wonderful life!!"

Take a peek at some of the adorable crocheted goodies in Rose's shop.

Is this not the cutest baby beanie you have ever seen?!
Love the combination of grey and mustard.
And if you don't have kids, don't worry. There is an adult version too!

This cowl looks so cozy.
It makes me want to snuggle up with a mug full of hot chocolate and a good book right now.

so. crazy. cute.
I'm a sucker for anything with a giant flower on it.

I love Bobbins and Beagles cute headbands/ear warmers.
I think every day would be a good hair day if I just threw one of these on.

I can't get over these baby beanies.
Madelyn most definitely needs one!

The beginning of a quilt....

The fabrics all been picked and laid out.
Now all I have to do is cut, sew, iron, and sew some more.

Sounds easy enough right?

Hopefully Madelyn's quilt will be done before she gets here :)
I've always been good at starting projects and never finishing them.
Luckily I have an impending due date to add a little pressure.

Anyways, what do you think?

Oh and Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
See you tomorrow for another fun giveaway and if you haven't entered the current one yet be sure to enter today!

What I Wore

Hey friends!
Thanks for all the sweet comments you guys give me about my clothes each week.
It totally makes my day!
And I'm pretty sure it's part of the reason I have stayed on this little "What I Wore" journey so long (who doesn't love to be told they look cute...especially when pregnant!).
Well that and the fact that I might never get out of my PJ's if I wasn't taking a picture to show to all of you each day. It's funny how the fear of public humiliation works as a little incentive.

A match made in heaven

I've always loved Starbucks.
Now I love them that much more.

My cake pop cravings are now only a short drive away.

This could be dangerous.
