Friday Randoms

Wow, what a week it has been!
Aaron started a new job on Monday and then Monday night I went into labor.
Then by early Tuesday morning we got to meet our precious baby girl Madelyn!
More real pictures of Madelyn from the hospital and our first couple of days home coming soon but for now...
here are some pictures of our week from the view of the hipstamatic lens of my iPhone..

Baby Madelyn is here!

Instant love!

She is perfect.
so. so. perfect.
I'm not biased at all :)

Proud big sister!
She couldn't stop smiling!

Wesley is such a good big brother.
He loves giving Madelyn her pacifier.

my girl

I kind of wish she could stay this little forever.

We had lots of visitors at the hospital.
Everyone wanted their chance to hold the baby girl and she loved every second of it.

Hope you guys had a great week!

Family Day

Saturdays are my favorite day of the week
because Saturdays are family day!
And I big fat puffy heart my family.
This Saturday was extra special because it was potentially our last Saturday as a family of 4.
I still can't believe that in a week or less baby Madelyn will really be here!

Anyways, we had a great family day hanging out at the park and then Aaron and I were even able to sneak out for a date later that night.
Here are some pictures of the fun.
Hope you guys had a great weekend!

My big girl!
She is so.so.so. excited to be a big sister again.
Today she told me that she's most excited to see Madelyn's face and to hold her.
I'd have to agree.

Our little man.
Ahhh...he totally melts my heart.

I'm so thankful for my hubby Aaron.

He is such a good Daddy to our kids.

My attempt at a family picture using the timer on our camera.

Baby Madelyn we can't wait to meet you!
Come soon please :)

Friday Randoms

Here's a peek at my week from the hipstamatic lens of my iPhone.
Enjoy!

Moved the kids to the very back of the van to make room for baby Madelyn.
They were so excited to be in their new spot!
Yay for easy transitions!

I've slowly but surely been working on some little things for Madelyn.
Can't believe she is going to be here in a week and a half or less!

Wesley showing off his favorite monkey while he was cuddling with Mackenzie in her bed.

I'm so thankful both of my kids still nap.
so.so. thankful.

Testing out our new stroller!
So far we love it!

The hubby is starting a new job on Monday so we had him home to ourselves for the entire week! We had so much fun together!

I heart evening strolls to the beach.
Caught a glimpse of my shadow the other day and had to take a pic.
Definitely looking and feeling very pregnant these days.
Took the little man for a much needed hair cut.

It's been a very hot week.
Much too hot for clothes.

One of my friends taught me how to freeze my cookie dough in balls.
Now I can have homemade cookies in 11 minutes,
which is awesome and dangerous all at the same time.

Especially when you are pregnant because you come up with creations like this.
Often.

Hope you guys had a great week!

Paper Butterflies

Oh Spring,
how I love thee!

If this doesn't scream spring,
I don't know what does!

I'm thinking a little corner of our house is definitely in need of some butterflies.

Don't cha think?

I couldn't agree more!

Check out the details on how to make a super cool butterfly sanctuary for your home HERE :)

Spring Scavenger Hunt

Who wants to stay inside with all this beautiful spring weather?!
Get the kids outdoors with this easy and fun Scavenger Hunt idea by I am Momma Hear me Roar.

Cheri collected things from her front yard, took some pictures of them and whipped up this snazzy college for her son to go off of. However if you are lazy like me you might choose to just draw some pictures of things that might be found around your house (rocks, flowers, grass, weeds, etc.).

And what a great idea to put all your treasures in an egg carton where each goodie has it's very own spot.

I know my little explorers are going to love this!
