Last night was Mackenzie's first Halloween. Although Halloween isn't my favorite holiday I have to admit I love seeing little kids dress up in their costumes and I love getting lots of candy...for Mackenzie of course :). Every year our church puts on a Harvest Festival that we go to with tons of games, candy, prizes, food, etc. It definitely beats trick or treating! Here are some pictures from the Harvest Festival. Sorry there are so many...Mackenzie and her friend's were so cute I just couldn't not post them all!

Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend we took Mackenzie to a pumpkin patch for the first time. The pumpkin patch we went to is in the parking lot at our local mall. To be honest I expected it to be a little lame but I figured it would at least be an experience for Mackenzie and something fun and "fallish" to do. But once we got there I was pleasantly surprised. There were little rides, a petting zoo, tons of pumpkins and other fun stuff. Mackenzie loved the animals and all the pumpkins. She also loved sitting on this big tractor that was there and pretending to drive it. It ended up being a fun little outing and something we will definitely do again next year.

Woman's Retreat

If I have been antisocial lately this is why...
The holiday boutique my friend and I are doing at Mariner's church is only a few weeks away! I have been working like crazy while Mackenzie naps and staying up way too late when she goes to bed at night trying to get as much done as possible. Here are a few new things I have made on top of the goodies you can find on my website (www.lubirdbaby.com). Let me know what you think...
Santa Clause Bib
Tons of Taggie Blankets

Crayon Rolls
These are perfect for kids on the go! Each crayon roll holds 16 crayons and neatly roll up and tie closed when not in use. They are easy to stash in diaper bags or purses and are great to keep in the car or to take into resturants to keep the kiddos occupied.
Tutu Bow Holder (you clip the bows onto the strings of ribbon)
Fabric Flowers for your hair. I have two sizes (small and large) so kids and adults can both wear them.

Kevin and Rachel's Wedding
2 weeks ago my youngest cousin Kevin got married to his fun and spunky wife Rachel. The wedding was in Palm Springs and was absoultely beautiful!
The wedding was on Saturday but Aaron, Mackenzie and I went out Wednesday night to enjoy a few days of sun and relaxation at my inlaw's house in La Quinta.
The weather was perfect and we had a great time hanging out by the pool and trying to get a tan.
Then Friday my mom, dad and brother all came down to stay at the house with us. Friday night we had the Rehersal dinner at a yummy Chinesse resturant with all my cousin's, aunts and uncles, etc.

Staurday morning we went to the Cabazon outlet's to shop and then Saturday evening was the wedding and reception. The wedding was at a botanical garden that had so much character and fit perfect with all the orange and green wedding colors.
Mackenzie loved the doves they had! My cosin Dave took these great pics of her.
Mackenzie is grandpa's girl these days (and Gamma too)!
It was so nice to be able to spend some time with my brother. He is gone alot with his work so it was good to have him around.
Aaron and I also got to have some much needed husband and wife time :)
