Baby Measles

It turns out the reason Mackenzie had such a nasty fever for so long was because she has baby measles. The nurse at Kids Doc said that kids with baby measles get a pretty bad fever for a few days and then once the fever goes away they get a rash which Mackenzie got today. Apparently all those immunizations she got at her doctors visits don't cover baby measles (go figure). The good news is that it only last about 3 days and it seems that the fever was the worst part and that is already over. Oh and it is contagious so don't bring your baby between the age of 0-3 near us for the next couple of days unless you want to get infected :)
