A peek at our week

Happy Friday!
Today's the last day for the Zoe Clothing Co. Giveaway so if you haven't entered yet
go do it now.

Here's a peek at our week through the camera lens of my phone.
Enjoy!

The biggest girl went on a Daddy date.
I can't believe she's almost 5!
Someone make her stop growing!

Maddie wishes she could sleep with Kenzie every night.
I have a feeling once she is in a big girl bed they will sneak in together once we put them down.

She likes pizza
like her Momma.

Kenzie LOVES soccer.

Cheering on her teammates.

My boy is all boy.
Gone are the days of princess dresses and high heels.
Now he's in to swords and cars and Army men.

Movie night!!

Look what we found in the jungles of Irvine.

Our second home.
This day we had lots of friends to join us.

We do school with Christmas music in the background.
Because it's never too early to start.
Don't judge people.

She is the easiest child to teach because she loves to learn!
She would do school all day long if I let her.

Luvs, 4 kids, Mulan and giant rulers

Happy Wednesday Friends!
Here's a peek of the randomness inside my brain right now...

1. I bought Luvs diapers the other day because they were cheap
and well, we needed diapers
and they are awesome.
Who would have thought?

2. A certain 16 month old girl broke my camera.
Sad day.

3. And the air conditioning in our car bit the dust.
Sad sad day.

4. I want to make one of these
Hopefully before the kids are off to college.

5. I am officially pregnant.
I busted out a pair of maternity jeans to wear to bunco the other night
because my stomach is twice as big at night as it is in the morning
and we eat lots of yummy treats at bunco.

6. If you stop by my house during the day
chances are this movie will be on.

7. Do you ever get overwhelmed by all the stuff in your life?
I swear the other day our house just got smaller or something
so I have been on a major purging streak.
Craigslist is my new BFF.

8. Did I mention I am pregnant?
Not a good movie to watch when you are pregnant.
I think I cried the whole time.
It was good though so watch it
just bring tissues if you are pregnant.

9. Speaking of kids...I am going to have 4!
Some days it just hits me like, "Wow. That's a lot of kids"
and other days I feel like "4 really isn't thaaaat many."
Either way 4 kids is going to be awesome.
If you don't believe me just read this.
Plus I just found out that if you have 6 people living in your house (hello 4 kids) you get 20% off your electricity bill.
Convinced you need 4 kids too?
Everyone's doing it.

10. My life as a homeschooling (preschool...which kind of hardly counts) mom just got sooooo much easier.

11. I want to make some more of these.
yellow. sea foam green. yes please!
Craft night anyone?

12. God is good.
And so gentle and loving.
I had a rough couple of days emotionally (remember I'm pregnant) but the Lord has totally gone out of His way to show me that I am His and that He loves me.
And just by doing little things that would only mean something to me
because He knows me.
And most importantly because He wants me to know Him and to trust Him.
To know that He is good all the time
even when life is hard
and that He is here for me always especially when times are hard.
What a good God we serve.

Well that's it...for today at least.
Hope you guys are having a great week!
Oh and make sure to enter the awesome Zoe Clothing giveaway if you haven't already.

Zoe Clothing Co. Giveaway!

Hi Guys!

I'm so excited to introduce you to one of my new favorite companies
They have the coolest scripture inspired clothing for kids and adults.

Here's what they are all about...
"Zoe" in Greek means life and represents the new life we have in Christ:
"And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life (zoe), and this life (zoe) is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life (zoe); whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life (zoe)."
— 1 John 5:11-12
As Christians, this new life — zoe — defines who we are. Our goal is to live out this truth in the way that we practice business and in the passion that we put into designing our clothing. We have created a line that is not only on the cutting edge of fashion, but also represents God's living and perfect Word. We hope that the simple messages of our clothing will be a light to others (Matthew 5:14-16), and an encouragement to the the one wearing it (Psalm 1:1-2).
God bless you as you live your new life (zoe) in Christ!

Zoe company was gracious enough to send us some of their products to try out and after seeing them in person I can personally tell you that they are great quality and just as cool as they look online.

Wesley is sporting the Fight the Good Fight tee which is his new favorite piece of clothing.
He has worn it every day since it arrived in the mail.
No joke.

Kenzie is wearing this Fruit of the Spirit tee.
It's so soft and comfy!
Our prayer is that the Fruits of the Spirit would be evident in her life as she shines the light of Jesus to those around her!

And Maddie and I have this super cute Titus 2 shirt.
I'm a sucker for Russian nesting dolls!

Zoe Company also has a ton of fun clothes for woman

and men.

And I love.love.love. the adoption tees they have!
So precious!
I think my friend who just brought her daughter home from Korea needs one of these.

Don't they have some cool stuff?
Want some Zoe Clothing of your very own?

A peek at our week

Hey Guys!
Here's a quick peek at our week through the camera lens of my phone.
Enjoy!

Kenzie had her first soccer game.
She totally dominated and scored 2 goals (those extra 5 inches she has on everyone else definitely came in handy) and I realized that I am the crazy soccer mom I thought I would be.

Maddie was cheering her big sis on!

The hubs and I git our baby fix and held down the nursery at church.

This boy has napped multiple times this week.
Victory!!
And I think all of the times he has napped have not been in his bed.

A preview of baby number 4.
I'm almost 14 weeks now...crazy!
And I think I got a peek during the ultrasound at what he/she is but I won't tell until it's certain.

The boy and his cars.
He usually has at least 6 with him at all times.

Game night with Aaron!

Nothing says fall like pumpkin cookies.
I won't tell you how many I ate today.

Evening trip to the park.

Room swap

We have entered a new era
well not really
but these two no longer share a room.

The farewell picture.

As of a couple days ago the girls are officially together and the boy is alone (and praying that baby number 4 is a boy so he will have another roommate soon).
I was a little nervous the transition would be hard but so far it has been super easy.
I'm actually wondering what took me so long.
Two days this week all 3 have taken a nap!
Hallelujah!
And the girls so quietly and calmly do their girl things while the boy can be a boy in his own room (without getting yelled at over messing up polly pockets, etc.).
Plus I got the cutest bedroom set for the girls off Craiglist (score) and Wes feels super cool now that he gets to be in the top bunk so overall it's a win win.

What do your kids sleeping arrangements look like?

Maddie's Bible verse

Remember these Bible Verse Signs?
Well we f.i.n.a.l.l.y. finished Madelyn's.
The amount of time it takes me to finish a project (or anything) these days
I better start on the new baby's pronto.
And maybe it will be done by the time he/she is one.
Maybe.

I love how Maddie's sign turned out I just wish we could have fit verse 6 on there too....
"in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths."
I figure since we pray the kids verses over them each night she will pick it up sooner or later.

Also just a tip in case you try making one of these yourselves (which you should totally do because they are super easy...just follow this tutorial
and whatever you do, DON'T use spray paint primer for the white part.
Trust me.
The stickers don't stick well to it and you will have to touch up every. single. letter. later on.
So not worth it.
Just buy the roller and a jar of good primer.

 Mackenzie's verse

Wesley's verse

And one of my sweet readers, Kyndal, emailed me a picture of the Bible verse sign she made for her boys' rooms.
If baby number 4 is a boy I think I might have to copy it exactly.
I love the green and the verse.
Perfect for a little man of God.

Oh and if you have a chance stop by Kyndal's blog and wish her a congratulations on her new baby girl!

Hailey's Welcome Home Adoption Shower

It's baby central over here.
One of our long time friends just brought home her baby girl from Korea!
They have been on this adoption journey for 5 years so her arrival was long awaited and anticipated for.
As soon as they got the call to pick Hailey Jane up we knew we had to throw a party to celebrate.

We went for a colorful, girly, flag/pennant theme for the shower which we hosted at our church.

It ended up coming together really well.
We made pendant flags for the centerpieces out of scrapbook paper and wooden skewers.
Then we stuck them in ribbon covered mason jars on each table surrounded by punched out scrapbook paper confetti for a little color.

One of my friends brought her globe and we put a heart sticker over Korea, the country they are adopting from.

And the cake!
Isn't it awesome!
That would be the work of my friend who has some serious cake making skills.

God even put some colorful decoration in the sky with a beautiful rainbow!

make that a double rainbow.
And yes...I totally sung the song

Everyone was so excited to meet baby Hailey.

I made the pendant banner at the top out of fabric and my friend cut out triangles out of scrapbook paper that we just taped to the  counter.

Me and my friend Jenni the new Mom to be!

It was so cute to see all the pink stuff she got!

Jenni we are so thrilled to finally meet baby Hailey!
You and Mike's perseverance, faith and trust in the Lord during the past 5 years has been a testimony to so many people.
We can't wait to watch Hailey as she grows and see all that God has in store for her little life.

A peek at our week(s)

The past couple of weeks have been a blur.
Probably because we were out of town for half of them.
Anyways, here's a peek of the craziness.
Enjoy!

We all got haircuts.
Much much needed haircuts.
Thanks Kristine!

We have been going on nightly after dinner walks.
Mainly to get the kids wiggles out but also for some exercise.
Because we all know I would never exercise or walk for fun alone with 3 kids.

Story time is my fav.

I'm always shocked at how many cups my kids go through in a day.
No wonder I can never find any clean ones.

We celebrated my friend's 30th.

Me and the hubby.

Praying I don't actually have to go in.
3 kids plus one on the way is a good excuse right!
Random fact...the only time I have ever been to jury duty I was put on a jury!

Playdates with friends are the best.

I've been trying to home school preschool (more on that soon).
This day we had an alphabet treasure hunt.
I taped letters all over the house and they had to find them in order.

Loving this book right now.

sisters

Yes that is blue chalk all over my carpet.

We have been living at the park these days.

And I think half the time spent at the park is on the swings.

Maybe more if your name is Mackenzie.

Look at those curls!

Big girl likes to sit in the booster seat
and eat cereal like the others.
What happened to my baby?

My latest addiction.
Don't judge a pregnant woman.

Intense splinter removal.

The Jesus Storybook Bible is the best!

Another batch of owls are coming soon!!
Hopefully they will be in the shop this weekend or Monday.

The tomato tree is out of control!
We just delivered bags of tomatoes to our neighbors tonight.
They deserve it for having to look at that eye sore every day.
