Colic

This was the happy baby we brought home from the hospital.

This week he was exchanged with...

this not so happy baby.

After talking with our doctor, we are pretty sure Wesley has colic.

Hearing my baby boy cry {I mean scream} for hours on end hurts my heart.
I want my little man to be happy again.
And I want to sleep at night.

So colic...
if you could go away soon {and I mean very soon}
and never come back again
that would be great.
Thanks :)

Aww I feel your pain. My oldest and youngest both had colic.
NOT FUN!
We spent many a screamy night pacing the floors :(

Hang in there!

One thing that helped with our youngest was a thing called Bio Gaia. They are just probiotic drops (like the good bacteria found in yogurt) that help sooth their little tummy. Our doctor suggested using them and I was SO thankful she did.
They really did help. We noticed a HUGE difference!

Hope your little one settles for you soon!!

I found your blog from The Creative Crate. I have been through colic with both of my kids...The best technique for our kids was to swaddle them and bounce on the exercise ball. Good luck!

I hope he feels better soon! Hang in there, momma!

My friend swears by Hyland's Homeopathic Colic tablets for her babies. I know you can get them at Target. I've heard swaddling helps too.

awww Im so sorry. :( My 1st 2 had it bad!! It got so bad at times I would break down and cry with them. A helpful tip. Get some ear plugs. They tune the crying down just enough that it is not so irritating and you can think more logically and not get as frustrated. Hope it goes away soon for you ((HUGS))

My second had colic from the time he was 2 or 3 weeks until he was 3 months. It was awful, and nothing worked. I know that it seems like when you are in this time of their lives that it lasts forever. But it really does go by fast in the grand scheme of things.

My daughter was colicy and we later discovered that she had a milk protein intolerance. If you are breastfeeding, you may want to try to eliminate dairy from your diet for atleast two weeks and see if that helps.
