Last week I got a taste of being a Mommy of 4.
We watched our friends 2 kids while they were out of town.
It was a fun. crazy. adventure.
Here are some things I learned about having 4 kids
all under the age of 5.

It's pretty much impossible to get a good picture of all 4 kids together.

4 kids produce lots of laughing
(and crying).

Recruit the older ones to help whenever you can.

There is such a thing as controlled chaos.
Stick to a schedule but be flexible.
When all else fails...
whip out a snack.

Be armed with a ridiculous amount of crafts and coloring.
And dress up clothes.

Expect there to be one (or 3) kids in your lap at all times.

There is never a dull moment
and rarely a quiet house.

Go to bed really early
or drink lots of caffeine.
You will need lots of energy.

Plant a garden
and buy a cow
and chickens.
4 kids go through food like you wouldn't believe.
And be prepared for lots of fun, hugs, funny stories and excitement.

wow - I'm impressed you survived
Good job! I'm a full time homeschooling mom of 5 ages 8 to 19 months. At one point I had 5 kids under 6.5 years. It's pretty much like you said :)
You pretty much just summed up my life. :-) Wouldn't change it for the world!
