Last Friday the kids and I had the privilege of being in an Oreck infomercial.
It was our first time doing anything like this so it was definitely an adventure.
There was only one
and they got all the shots they were looking for so I have to say the day was a success!
We arrived at the shoot at 9:30 a.m. and didn't leave until 6:00 p.m. so it was a full day of shooting. The kids did great overall thanks to my mom and Aaron who came to help and the backpacks full of entertainment we packed.
Mommy and Kenize were making lunch while fake Daddy (definitely not as good looking as my real hubby!) and Wesley ate lunch.
Posing after one of the many wardrobe changes.
This was right before shot #2 (A.K.A. the most horrible moment of the day).
This was another family shot with me, Madelyn, Mackenzie, Wesley and our TV husband/dad.
We were supposed to be sitting down playing with our dog.
Let's just say a certain little man of mine was not interested in the dog or the shoot or doing anything he was told to do.
In fact he was way more entertained throwing teddy bears as high as he could in the air, laying face down on the floor and screaming like a crazy man.
Just picture me sweating like a mad woman, holding the baby, trying to control the boy while being on camera with 30 people watching me.
Not my favorite moment of the day but thankfully they did great for the other shots.
Playing games together
Getting my hair done for my shot with Maddie!
Me and Maddie playing
Mackenzie with her "fake Mommy" playing on my iphone
Wesley on camera with his "fake Mommy"
That's a wrap!
We had a great time pretending to be an acting family and can't wait to see how it all turned out.
Thanks Script to Screen for using us as your Oreck family!
