Dreamy pillowcase

For the finishing touch on Mackenzie's bedding I needed to add a little spice to her plain white pillowcase.

So...using leftover scraps from the quilt, I appliqued the word "dream" on the open end of the pillowcase and then added a little ric rack to finish it off (because everything is better with ric rack).

An easy and quick project to tie everything together.

That's adorable! It's so easy to craft for my daughter but this is something I can do for my son too! (Major Mama Guilt when he asked me when I was going to sew something for *him*.) Thanks for a great idea!

I have to agree with you there about the rick rack. This is so cute. I would have loved a pillow like this when I was little.
