Lioness

The kids' current favorite past time is pretending to be lions.
We crawl around the house roaring at each other pretty much
all.day.long.
It's fun stuff.

Anyways, the other day my little lions were playing when the following conversation went down...

Me (speaking to Mackenzie): "Come here my little lioness. It's time to get dressed."
Mackenzie (whining): "Mooommm, don't call me an "S" lion."
Me (laughing): "No Baby, a LIONESS. That's what girl lions are called."
Mackenzie (laughing hysterically): "Mommy, your silly! Lions don't live in "ness," birds do!"

Love my silly little girl.

hahaha! I love how little kids 'know everything' sometimes. My daughter told me she was going fishing with daddy and she was gonna catch a Gooey Fish (from Mickey Mouse) and I told her they aren't real, but maybe she'd catch a catfish. She gave me a dismissive look and said, "That's silly, mommy, cats don't turn into fish."

Monitor your child's game playing. Many games are now played online where your child can interact with anyone who is playing the game online. Ask your child about his game playing and who he is talking to. You can also look into your child's gaming system and set parental controls that allow you control over what your child is doing during his game play.
