The beginning of a quilt....

The fabrics all been picked and laid out.
Now all I have to do is cut, sew, iron, and sew some more.

Sounds easy enough right?

Hopefully Madelyn's quilt will be done before she gets here :)
I've always been good at starting projects and never finishing them.
Luckily I have an impending due date to add a little pressure.

Anyways, what do you think?

Oh and Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
See you tomorrow for another fun giveaway and if you haven't entered the current one yet be sure to enter today!

You know what would make your daughter feel so special as she gets older? If you took one of your husband's old ties, cut the center seam in the back, and incorporated that fabric into the quilt.

Just an Idea, but I thought that with the cute variety of colors, you could surely find a tie to match. :) Thought it couldn't hurt to share the suggestion.
