It feels so good to finish a project!
Especially a project with a quickly approaching deadline attached to it
(only 5 weeks left until my due date!).
Here is a peek at the quilt I made for our baby girl Madelyn.
Can you tell I like color?
I wanted it to be bright and girly.
I had so much fun picking out hot pink, purple and green fabrics in all sorts of different prints.
I also added Madelyn's name to the front for a special little touch.
I love how it turned out!
view from the back.
Mackenzie and Wesley were Madelyn's official quilt testers.
After hours of cuddling, tent building, baby wrapping, and other testing procedures
they gave it the seal of approval.
Hopefully Madelyn will love it as much as they do.
*Be sure to stop back on Thursday for a quick tutorial on how I made it.
