the 4th

Happy 4th of July!

This holiday was no different from most the others...

totally jammed packed and loaded with fun.

We started off the day at our friends community 4th of July party at a park near their house.

There were bounce houses, carnival games, contests, yummy treats and lots of fun things for families to do.

The kids had a blast playing the games and winning little prizes

and even the adults joined in on the fun!

(That's my friend Shannon in the red who won the potato sack contest).

Wesley and Kenzie even got to try snow cones for the first time.

Yum!

After the park, we headed home to load up the Bob and then walked down to the beach to meet up with more friends.

The beach was beautiful!

It was hot and sunny and perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, sand castle making and swimming in the ocean.

Then we headed back to our next door neighbors house for a BBQ and dessert and finished off the night watching a firework show over the ocean.
