Baby Caleb

One of my best friends had her baby boy last week.
Sweet baby Caleb
was born super early at 24 weeks gestation and was
14 ounces and almost 11 inches long.
He is the cutest, tiniest little guy I have ever seen.

He is such a testimony and reminder of what a great big God we serve.
Our God is the author and sustainer of life.
He is in control of all things.
And He is altogether good.
Even in the midst of trying times.

And we have been giving God all the praise for sweet Caleb!
Caleb has been doing so well since he was born!
He may be tiny but he sure is a fighter.
I like to refer to him as superbaby.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for this special little guy.
The Lord has already used him to teach me (and so many others) more about Himself and to draw us closer to Him.
It's so fun to just sit back and watch God at work.
He is so good!

Premature babies are always a testimony to me of the Lord. My cousin had a preemie and was convinced that that baby only made it through because he was a fighter. To me, he fought hard and the Lord carried him when he couldn't fight hard enough. As tough as those times are, I'm always grateful to get to be a part of them for their testimony building. Good luck to sweet baby Caleb!

Amazing little guy! My girls are former 29 weeker fighters who are now happy, healthy terrible twoers! It will be a loooong road ahead, much longer than ours even because 24 weekers are micro preemies but I know what can come of the other side, the side when they are almost three years down the road and look back a this time as a distant memory! Praying for your friend, her family, and baby Caleb! Our March of Dimes walk for preemies is this Saturday and my family is actually the Ambassador Famiky for our county thus year, so this is so near & dear to us!
